Our annual I Got Your Back event will be held on Friday, September 8th, 2023. We are excited to host an immersive theatre event at The Savoy Denver. The in-person event is sold out but we encourage you to participate by shopping our silent auction or making a one-time donation to help us raise $58,000 to disrupt the school to prison pipeline.
Proceeds support our mission to disrupt the school-to-prison pipeline through theatre and social-emotional programs for young people in schools, juvenile detention centers, and community centers.

Ticket Prices: We are committed to Community-Centric Fundraising, a fundraising model grounded in equity and social justice. We prioritize the entire community over individual organizations, foster a sense of belonging and interdependence, present our work not as individual transactions but holistically, and encourage mutual support between nonprofits. That is why our ticket sale model asks you to select your price of admission. Select the amount that is meaningful to you. For you, that might be $10. For someone else, it might be $100. Our collective giving matters most and has the most significant impact.

Attire: Wear what makes you feel fabulous! Do you want to have fun with a splash of color? Here are our colors for this event. Wear them however you'd like: anything from sweatpants to prom dresses is encouraged!
The evening will include delicious libations and delicious sushi burritos from sponsor Motomaki during our happy hour, an immersive theatre experience that will bring you, the audience, into the work of MIA, and a silent auction filled with local products and one-of-a-kind experiences.
