Jobs & Volunteers
Want to join our team?
We are a passionate group of artists, educators, business owners, creatives, facilitators, social justice warriors, and lovers of humanity. We know the power of theatre and use that craft to help youth find their voice. We’re seeking talented, forward-thinking, energetic people to join our team.
How will MIA Giving Cohorts work?
Giving cohort volunteer members will learn how to fundraise, create their fundraising materials and strategy, and become part of a community of passionate volunteers committed to disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline and liberation for all through cooperative fundraising.
A diverse group of up to 20 individuals gathering 6 times (three in-person meetings and three online meetings) over the period of 3 months. Meetings are scheduled for Thursday Nights.
Through cohort sessions and training, the group develops a shared understanding of Mirror Image Arts' mission, work, and impact.
In addition to cohort sessions, each member will have two one-on-one trainings with MIA Staff.
Each person makes a financial gift — one that is meaningful to them.
Each person commits to fundraising from their friends, family, and community to support the fundraising goal of the cohort. The Mirror Image Arts staff will train you in community-centric and peer-to-peer fundraising, guiding and supporting you during your commitment.
Each member will have the opportunity to see our work up close through ensemble or onsite visits.
